I genuinely love this car but we have 3 cars between 2 of us and so unfortunately one of them has to go. As we don’t really have a need or chance to use this one much it is unfortunately the Jeep. GOOD POINTS: Mechanically brilliant Chrome lights front and back, chrome door handles, chrome rear panels and boot hinges Sat Nav Air Con with climate control Tinted windows Looks stunning Cruise control Engine purrs and pulls just how it should New chunky Pirelli Scorpion tyres with tons of grip MOT’d until November Taxed until November Immaculate light tan leather interior Electric EVERYTHING – Sunroof, windows, mirrors, electronic rear view mirror (relieves dazzle), heated side mirrors (drys the rain), heated seats, electric seats etc. Parking sensor Fully equipped tow bar (easily removed if not required) Stylish colour coded roof bars Remote alarm and immobiliser Very well looked after – Oil changes every 3000-5000 miles by experienced ex-Jeep employee that lives by me. I only ever use premium petrol in it (e.g. Optimax, BP Ultimate etc). The leather is cleaned and fed and the exterior washed and waxed on a regular basis. The list of plus points on this car just goes on and on. This car really is one of the best examples on Ebay. However, as with any used cars there are a few points worth addressing though: ABS sensor light on dash is showing since a couple of days ago – Have had it looked at and there is nothing wrong with the brakes, is simply a broken sensor that happened a few days ago. This is also causing a slight rubbing noise sometimes when turning. You can get them off Ebay for around £40 and have them fitted in minutes by yourself or your local KwikFit. The paintwork is in pretty good condition for this age of car (2001). No major scrathes or scrapes at all really but there is a slight dent on the rear bumper. However, it is right on the corner and genuinely blends in as it’s plastic. I did not even see it when I first bought the car. New battery required – I bought a new battery for this car and kept it in the boot. It unfortunately fell over and was left like that for a few days without me realising. This meant the battery lost a lot of its acid/fluids etc. I have put in the battery anyway and all runs fine but as we don’t use the car much it does mean the battery seems to not hold a charge for too long, e.g. after a few days the battery is dead. You would therefore ideally need a new battery for this car if you’re not using it daily (is fine once running). A battery from the battery man site for this car is around £60. Boot carpet has some burn marks from the acid spilt from the battery previously mentioned. However, the boot has a strethable cover over the top so this would never be seen unless loading the boot and can easily be covered or replaced with a fitted mat for a few pounds. That is about it. In other words there are a few minor problems that can be sorted out very easily and cheaply but this car really is brilliant. It’s been well looked after and cared for but the last few months it simply does not get used anywhere near as much as we should to justify keeping it. It really is quick and powerful if you want that but is lovely to cruise around in too. It is SO comfortable it’s unbelievable. Like huge leather armchairs to sit in at the front and everyone comments on how nice it is inside and out. It is total luxury with the addition of super light power steering and cruise control. It is extremely efficient for a Grand Cherokee due to how well the engine has been maintained thanks to having an ex-Jeep employee being a close friend and neighbour that has serviced and helped with this car since I’ve owned it. The pictures don’t do this car justice, trust me, this is a great looking Jeep inside and out and is so nice to drive. The engine is effortless. We used it during the massive snow fall at the beginning of the year and just cruised past all the stuck and abandoned cars without any problem. This is a great 4×4. This has been so well looked after that even the basics such as the spare wheel and kit underneath the boot are all present and even the Emergency first aid kit in the side boot compartment is there and unused. Seriously, this is a great example of a Grand Cherokee. The car is currently in Maidstone in Kent. If you bid then you are bidding to buy at the price you have bid. There will be no negotiations or discounts for anything I have omitted or gotten wrong. I believe I am being honest and informed with this description but you are welcome to come and view the car before bidding. Please note I am happy to take you out for a test drive but with ME driving unless you can prove you have comprehensive insurance for MY car (i.e. not fully comp on your car so third party on others). I had £700 of damage done to a previous car I sold years ago from an unisured test drive and will not be a victim of this again. The car is also open to any inspection if you wish to bring mechanics, the AA etc. – No problem. This has breezed through every MOT without ANYTHING, not even any advisories. Up for sale is my top of the range Grand cherokee 4.7 V8 High Output. It has been a cracking vehicle for the purpose I had it for, but now its time for a change, looking for a navara or L200!!!! Mainly been used for taking the boat down the road to the local slip way, or on the school run. Unfortunatlly, had a problem with the diff, and took it to a local machanic, who changed all the barings,oil and everything else, but noise has come back, and been told by someone else, that he never shimmed it in correctlly??? so, if your handy with a spanner this could be a bargain buy!!! Apart from the diff, just got the odd scratch and ding, but nothing major (dent on back door in pic has been repaired) The good things about this jeep, is its got nearly every extra you can think of!! Sat Nav, Heated half leather/suade Seats, air con, sunroof, parking sensors, cruise control, tow bar…….etc etc. 4 very good tyres, good engine and gear box (no knocks or rattles!!) Hi and welcome to the auction of my grand jeep Cherokee 4.7 LPG gas converted. It is fully loaded electrics cruise control etc etc… Good condition nice clean jeep. I was in a hurry to get to work last week and i did not notice the temp gauge, the rad had burst resulting in possible head gasket or cylinder head warping.
