Jeep Grand Cherokee V8 4.7 Limited. Belongs to my girlfriend. Was in daily use until early december when it had a little water leak. Subsequently the RAC ran it without coolant, and the result is that it now has a suspected head gasket failure. The car will run (just) but pops and bangs, and should be deemed to require either head gasket replacement or new engine. Prior to the engine problem the car was working fine, and the LPG kit works fine, you can’t tell if you’re on petrol or lpg when driving, and it saves a lot of money in fuel. Car is in good condition for it’s year. When it is unlocked, the passenger door still needs to be openned from the inside the first time, but after that is fine.
