Hi Here for sale is my Grand Cherokee 4.7 v8 Overland Hi Output This is not the Standard 4.7 Limited but the Overland model which has a much higher output engine and of course all the interior options only available on the overland. The car is in great condition outside but has two areas that were damaged when I reversed into a fence post and Barbed wire,(see pictures) I was quoted only £280 to put this right by a local body shop so not bad at all. The interior is excellent with the Silver Grey Leather Alcantara seats, and leather steering wheel with the wood integrated into the wheel this has literally no wear at all.The Carpets are perfect with no signs of wear. Electric SunRoof. 17″ Overland alloys with perfect tyres. Hardwired Bury hands free car kit which also has an arial, so no loss of signal and was an expensive item to install. Sony Playstation installed in the boot area and a Ceiling mounted LCD screen for back seat passengers. Excellent Infinity Concert system. Now the bad bit. The car has a cylinder head problem as the temperature rises and has signs of steam coming from the tail pipe. Once the signs appeared I never ran the car again for fear of damaging the engine but I can tell you that the engine still sounds perfect and the car actually drove perfect with tons of power, but when I noticed the temperature rising I parked it up and had my Mechanic friend do a pressure check, and he confirmed that the head gasket needs replacing. The car has under 87,000 miles so should definitely be repaired, considering it’s an overland and has that awesome engine, it’s just too much for me to take on, but I will be buying another overland. Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4.7 V8 High Output Hemi This is the absolute top-of-the-range Jeep Grand Cherokee with a host of factory and supplementary extras. I’ve had the Jeep for two years and looked after it well. There are no marks on the electric, heated leather seats and everything works as it should. I was impressed enough by the guy I bought it off who had also spent a load of money on it and who contacted me a number of times after the sale to tell me what a mistake he made in selling it to buy a 5 series BMW. The last service was a full one at 108k with the current reading being 115k. I’ve used the Jeep very much as a second vehicle (it was untouchable last winter in the snow) and looking back at the old MOTs (I have stacks of them) I’ve done 5,000 miles since Sept 2010. I had a problem with the aircon and heater flaps three thousand miles ago and had the whole system replaced at a cost of £1,200.00. It had new discs and pads at 111k and there are recent receipts for other bits like new bonnet and boot hydraulic struts, privacy glazing and £330 for a new Powerflow side-pipe exhaust system (sounds AWESOME and spookily enough, actually improves mpg!). It’s also had two recent tyres. The black wheels are Jeep Originals with Jeep centre caps, not boy-racer Halfords add-ons. Just had a brand new battery a week or so ago. I have the original sales invoice of £30,750.00 from December 2002. I’m taking the private plate off unless the buyer wants it by separate negotiation. I’ve just taxed it for six months and the MOT runs till October so it’s a no-hassle driveaway. Interior equipment (over £3k’s worth) includes an Alpine DVD system with built-in SatNav (although that bit needs a new disc) and rear screens, full leather, individual climate control, 6 CD changer, Harmon Kardon (no less!!) iPod player, awesome speaker system including subwoofer (better than a cinema when watching a movie), separate opening tailgate window, electric tilt/slide sunroof, rear wash/wipe, electric open/close heated mirrors, electric seats, remote locking. cruise control, multi-function leather steering wheel.
