Item: Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited LPG. I have owned this Jeep for 7 years, the previous owner had it from new, so it hasn’t been passed from one careless owner to another. I have all of the original Jeep pack, including both keys and fobs, and I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves but with a brief run-down: LPG – this is a multi-point McLaren system, with torodial tank in the rear wheel well, and it cost me £2.5k to convert: it works perfectly, without any issue at all, and there is absolutely no drop in performance compared to petrol. 80% of the other LPG vehicles on Ebay are advertised as needing a service, or they “just” need a small fix, but that’s just spiel for it not working properly. I can get 270-280 miles from £40 of LPG, that’s around 42-45 mpg from a V8 Jeep! Body – there are a few marks, as you can see, including one on the passenger side front where the Jeep took on a wall (and won), but apart from that it’s in superb condition for a 13 year old vehicle. There’s no rust, no major trolley dents and digs, and no scratches of any description. Interior – it’s superb, it has never, ever been smoked in, and other than a few holes for the hands-free kit, it’s almost impossible to fault. The carpets are as new, having been fitted with genuine shag-pile carpets. Everything works, even down to every, single puddle/interior light. Mechanical – absolutely perfect, there are no issues, and it shows that it’s another 6500 miles before the next service. The Jeep shows 3.5 bar of oil pressure when warm, well over 4 bar when cold, and it runs at a constant 100 degrees. The gearbox is absolutely perfect, it pulls like the sun, it selects and runs in 4wd/N/2wd with no issues, the over-drive works perfectly, and the transmission does not over-heat. Options, basically EVERYTHING that could be fitted to a Jeep, including: Electric, heated and memory seats. Electric, heated and retracting wing mirrors. Cruise, dual zone climate and sunroof. Fuel computer with time to service, distance on current journey, compass. Infinity Gold 10 speaker stereo system, with CD multi-changer. Tow bar with dual electrics. Please, do not waste my time with emails containing “What’s your best price?”, or “How much for cash?”, but as this Jeep is for sale elsewhere, and therefore this auction could be ended prematurely, please feel free to make sensible offers. LPG – it works perfectly, it even has a full tank of LPG too. It doesn’t hestitate, it doesn’t stutter, it works from cold, it’s absolutely perfect. The Jeep has only done 6k miles since the conversion, I used it to two my race bikes occasionally, so it’s not even due for a service. It did have the 1000 miles installation service though.

Hi Here for sale is my Grand Cherokee 4.7 v8 Overland Hi Output This is not the Standard 4.7 Limited but the Overland model which has a much higher output engine and of course all the interior options only available on the overland. The car is in great condition outside but has two areas that were damaged when I reversed into a fence post and Barbed wire,(see pictures) I was quoted only £280 to put this right by a local body shop so not bad at all. The interior is excellent with the Silver Grey Leather Alcantara seats, and leather steering wheel with the wood integrated into the wheel this has literally no wear at all.The Carpets are perfect with no signs of wear. Electric SunRoof. 17″ Overland alloys with perfect tyres. Hardwired Bury hands free car kit which also has an arial, so no loss of signal and was an expensive item to install. Sony Playstation installed in the boot area and a Ceiling mounted LCD screen for back seat passengers. Excellent Infinity Concert system. Now the bad bit. The car has a cylinder head problem as the temperature rises and has signs of steam coming from the tail pipe. Once the signs appeared I never ran the car again for fear of damaging the engine but I can tell you that the engine still sounds perfect and the car actually drove perfect with tons of power, but when I noticed the temperature rising I parked it up and had my Mechanic friend do a pressure check, and he confirmed that the head gasket needs replacing. The car has under 87,000 miles so should definitely be repaired, considering it’s an overland and has that awesome engine, it’s just too much for me to take on, but I will be buying another overland. I am selling our Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.7 V8 Limited with LPG Gas conversion with Certificate and is registered LPG/Petrol on the V5. The car drives excellent with no engine or gearbox faults and no noisy axles etc. Body work is in very good and tidy condition apart from a scuff to the passenger front door trim (see picture). The car has been in daily use until it went for its MOT earlier this month, the MOT due date is 18/04/2012. Sadly it has FAILED its MOT on the hand brake and some welding required to the inner sills. Please see picture of failure sheet! The only reason I have decided to auction the car is due to the fact that we have another car and the lack of time and funds to sort out the Jeep. As its the limited edition it basically has every extra like leather, sunroof, electric everything which all works fine, the only thing that doesn’t work all of the time are the heated seats. Climate control works great both the HOT and Ice cold air con. It has the 10 disc multi changer in the boot etc. Its lovely to drive on both LPG and Petrol and returns around 20mpg on LPG, slightly more when on Petrol. It’s never used any oil or water etc and is mechanically sound. The car has covered 137,000 miles with plenty of service history in the book, it has 2 key fobs and keys all the books and manuals etc and its still taxed until end of June this year. All tyres have loads of tread left and alloys have been refurbished about a year ago, 2 sets of locking wheel nut keys. The front brake calipers were replaced about 3 months ago as was the oil and filters. The car is on a private plate at the moment but it is in the process of being changed back to its original T reg number by DVLA. We have had the replacement tax disc returned already so just waiting for the V5 which will hopefully arrive before end of Auction. The car is definately too good to scrap and with the handbrake and repairs to the inner sills for the MOT it will be a very good Jeep again! The body is in excellent condition as there are no dents and only a couple of marks on the paintwork and only a few tiny surface scratches (and I am being very picky here). Overall the body is pretty much in excellent shape. The expensive tires are in good tread and the alloys are in good condition. This Jeep looks quite stunning and the specification levels of these 4.7 models are fantastic – they really do have most things available. Mileage is good and so are the service levels. The main components, engine, etc all appear to be in very good condition. This metallic green silver Jeep Cherokee 4.7 Limited has the same MPG as the 4.0 model but it is 2.1 seconds faster then 4.0 model, providing 0-60mpg in 8.7 second – extremely fast and these model have a much better interior specification levels – they pretty much have everything. The cross and lateral roof bars move freely and are in very good condition. This model runs without fault – and it idles perfectly and runs as it should do. All of the exterior and interior equipment works as it should do. The interior is pretty much immaculate. This is a very solid well conditioned model. I am really confident in the quality and future ability/long life ahead of it is the miles are reasonably low and it drives brilliantly. I personally think it looks very good in metallic green, especially with the higher 4.7 specification levels. Rest assured that it is a very good model that runs 100% perfectly. EXTERIOR OVERVIEW As you can see the body is in excellent shape. There are no major marks/dents at all or any scratches. There aren’t even any tiny scufffs, just a few tiny hair line scratches, nothing that stands out in a bad way. The metallic green paintwork looks very good when polished it immaculate as you can hopefully see in the pics. The alloys have a little de-oxagenisation, but nothing too bad. Overall the condition is pretty much in A1 condition. This is very much unlike the worn high mileage models that are around. There are no nasty marks on the loading bay or bumpers at all. Includes: Oversized 4×4 tyres with very good tread all round Alloys are in good condition all round The brakes are in excellent condition and so are the discs (few marks, but no juddering – even at high motorway speeds) All bulbs working throughout (front spot light to replace – which I will do so before the end of sale) Rear Wiper Front fogsTow bar Electric wing mirrors – working perfectly re the glass elecs (one is tempramental re the folding function) Roof bars with cross lateral bars – in good condition INTERIOR OVERVIEW The interior is very comfortable and with electric seats (working 100% perfectly on both seats). The leather is in very good condition. All of the electrics work. The electric mirrors work and fold perfectly. This model also has the electric sunroof – which I love. The carpets are in very good/like new condition – with foot mats and the loading carpets are only a little grubby. There are no rips or tears on the carpets at all. The heaters work perfectly. The stereo is very good – with cruise control/stereo controlls via the steering wheel. This is a very comfortable interior that also feels good and gives a sense of control of what is a very nimble 4×4. All of the essentials are in perfect condition in regards to the fluids, exhaust (no nasty white smoke etc), mechanics etc. Nonetheless, this model will be classified as being in condition where faults have or may occur and reliability might be in question and ownership of this potential has been accepted by the new keeper, in-line with the 1979 trade descriptions act, which is simply my legal stance. The mot and tax is both for periods – no immediate expense should be required.
