Welcome to the auction of my CJ5 with rover V8 conversion. It was originally a US postal service DJ5 (hence the white colour) and was imported to this country around 1994, where the CJ5 bodytub was added along with the range rover V8 and 3 speed auto box. It is in very good overall condition, mechanically, body and chassis and has a full 12 month MOT with the only issues being play in the steering and a brake pipe (not bad for a 37 year old jeep) now sorted…. It has been re-sprayed but under the bonnet it is a bit untidy and there is surface rust in the engine bay. The seats are in very good condition as is the hood, but both rear windows have been damaged and will need replacing (but I will look into this and add some more information). It sounds awesome, as only a V8 can but has no power steering or power brakes, so can get a bit fun, and is only 2 wheel drive. I thought about buying a cherokee and replacing the axles etc but I will leave that for the new owner (wouldn’t want all the fun)… I will be in London on bank holiday monday and i could possibly bring it down, but please get in touch to discuss… Any further questions, please do not hesitate to ask…..

The bodywork is very good,except a very small nudge/scuff on the corner of the front bumper.The rest is almost unmarked and comes in a very nice light mettalic black.The interior is also in top condition and shows very little signs of wear which is mainly the drivers seat from getting in an out,but even thats not too bad.The car comes loaded with extras as listed above and alos come with a mega service history which includes recent new front discs,callipers and pads,exhaust,throttle body the list is endless,whatever this truck needed it got even had new bonnet struts which is common on these.Its just had this week,new rear anti roll bar links both sides and new rear anti roll bar bushes both sides.I have all mots,service invoices and a fully stamped service book with all corrisponding reciepts and finaly have the HPI certificate to show its all clear.The engine and drive train on this truck is amazing as you would expect from one thats been well cared for.It pulls like a train,sounds very sweet and has lots of power when you need it not like the rattly,sluggish diesel models that only give you 6 or 7 miles to the gallon more.Everything works as it should do and the truck drives without fault.
