Here I am selling my Jeep Wrangler 2.5 for spares or repair. Please read carefully. I have no mechanical background so I will do my best to explain what went wrong with it. At 70 mph there was a loud crunch and white smoke began to billow from the exhaust. I had the vehicle recovered to a garage in Cambridge where the mechanics said it was serious but without spending 2-3 hours stripping it down couldn’t say exactly what was wrong with it. The Jeep started and ticked over after the incident but the noise was bad and the smoke still emitted. A couple of days earlier it also failed it’s MoT, too much movement on the steering wheel, emissions and the brakes were at 48%. The damaged front number plate was replaced pre MoT, the passenger side wing mirror has no glass in it, a temporary reflective surface was fitted for MoT purposes. Driver’s side window is not connected to it’s winder, the arm is bent and the glass is wedged up with a piece of timber. The Jeep has a black hard top not shown in the photos. There is Road Tax until Sept’ 2012 but i intend to cash this in unless the buyer wishes to purchase this separately. There is a CD/radio/bluetooth stereo fitted which i intend to remove but can be purchased separately for £20 The Jeep is still in CAMBRIDGE and the buyer will need to collect it from there. Payment via Paypal or Cash on collection. NO cheques/banker’s drafts etc Collection MUST be made on Saturday 5th May or Sunday 6th May. Excellent condition Jeep Wrangler recently passed MOT (March 2012) with no works required. I am selling as I now have to do high mileage for work. Hard top + soft top (kept in storage during the winter). The Jeep has not been used off-road driving and has been kept under cover and off road since I have owned it in the past 2 years. It has been serviced and kept in good condition with a new battery in the past 12 months. All tyres are in good condition and relatively new. Minor defects: Driver side Footplate has rust from leaking seal in one area. I have used silver metallic tape so that it looks good cosmetically. It can be replaced but typically you have to buy a pair (circa £200) and the other side is in great condition. Never bothered me so I did not replaceSmall chip in windscreen ( It has been there since I bought the car 2 years ago and has not increased in size) it passes the MOT.Small paint defects (no rust) just needs touching up with the right JEEP green.
