This auction is for my 1997 Jeep Grand Cherokee 4×4. The car is MOT’d until 28th Sep 2012 and taxed until the end of Sep 2011 – allowing the winning bidder to drive the car away. if after the 30th you will need to tax the truck i can do this for you as i still have it insured but that would be at buyers cost. The car has had a dual fuel conversion meaning that it will run on petrol or, at the flick of a switch, LPG. This makes it much more economical to run with a litre of LPG currently costing around 80p. It runs nice and smooth on LPG having just had a few weeks ago £180 spent on a new high output reducer. The car has also benefitted in the last 3 months from new plugs, leads, distributor cap and rotor arm. The body-work is solid with no obvious signs of rust although it has the kind of dinks and scratches that you would associate with a 4×4 of this age. Inside, the luxurious black full leather interior is in good condition. The car has all the gadgets that you would associate with this model (power steering, power/heated mirrors, power windows, remote central locking etc), although please note the following: Aircon is not very cold (suspect needs a regas) Drivers electric seat does not work (been like this since I’ve owned the car but its not proved a problem) Nice audio system (Infinity Gold) with excellent sound quality – but there is no remote CD changer wired in. However, I do have a changer laying around that I have never got round to installing which I will include in the sale. Wheels are quite tatty and could do with a refurb.
