Hi and welcome to my auction for a 1996 Green Jeep Cherokee Limited SE 2.5TD. I have owned this Vehicle for just over 2 years and she has been brilliant on and off road. Always sales through the MOT, Versatile,comfortable and Practical. Good for long distance or motorway travel with cruise control, adjustable steering wheel height and very comfortable electric leather seating. Superb and highly underrated as an off road vehicle, with high and lo range 4 wheel drive, never been stuck in the mud and pulled plenty of friends out of sticky situations! Great for towing caravans and trailers, an all road all round vehicle. Sad to see her go as have inherited a newer 4×4 and cant afford to keep both on the road. She does have a few minor problems that I haven’t got around to sorting out, these are as follows: Rear passenger side wheel bearing has a slight noise.Will include two new wheel bearing kits in sale.Needs new oil pressure switch as faulty gauge. JEEP CHEROKEE 4.0L HIGH OUTPUT LIMITED EDITION Here is my jeep cherokee 4.0l monster. It is moted untill aprill 2012 and has no tax. Im selling this for a freind, he has just brought a new car so this one has to go.This car is in very good condition for its age, the engine has covered 93000 miles and sounds great. no rattles nocks noises etc. starts first time every time with no problems. it has a toad alarm fitted which works fine. The car has leather seats all round which are in fairly good condition. as is the rest of the interior. What you would expect from a car this age. The auto box is very good and doesnt kick at all and the transfer box works in all settings for going off road. The front two tyres are brand new dunlops £165 each. the rears are legal but will need replacing some time next year. brand new back box worth £250. All the brakes are fine. When the car passed its last mot the only advisory was a tyre low on air. didnt need any thing. The V5 has not arrived yet but hopefully will be here for end of auction, had to pay £25 for a new document as last owner never sent it off. Hi. for sale is my reliable Jeep. I have advertised it as spares or repair because it is out of test, but without to much work it would pass another test, it has two small holes in the floor, needs new brake pads and a drop link bar, none of which are big jobs. It had a new exhaust fitted last year it is well shod and there is no real sign of rust on the bodywork, a very tidy looking motor overall. The engine and gear box are perfect, it starts and runs beautifully. I got this car to pull my caravan, when I worked on contracts all over Britain, I have now retired and bought a boat to spend my summers on, its last job was last week when it pulled my boat from Daventry to Darlington, the boat weighed about two ton and the Jeep pulled it as if it was an empty trailer, it has never let me down and with a bit of loving care there is a lot more work in her yet. Selling this jeep on behalf of an American forces family who have now gone back to the USA. Has been very well looked after with very few miles been added since they have owned it since 2009. This is a 1997 R-reg Limited model with 101k miles. Taxed and tested (see spec above). Hpi clear. Top-spec Limited which has full electrics and air con. The 4×4 and autobox system runs superb and feels really smooth. The engine has very low miles for the year and feels really responsive and lots of power. Recently had new water pump, full exhaust and cat. In general, this jeep is in very good condition and running order. Ready to be used. Bad points; Cracked windscreen that can be cheaply replaced through insurance. Headlamp has small chip in it, but have found these cheap to buy on ebay. Slight wear on driver seat and steering wheel.
