This i do with every car i,ve owned . The car was running smooth until 10 days ago when it just shut down . I,ve had it checked out and was told to replace the coil pack & the crank shaft sensor Two test were done, 1 by green flag &1 by jeep with the same result This came to over £200 . I,ve replaced with jeep parts ANOTHER £212 now I can not reset the engine management light. i do not have the tool to address the issue or money at this time so selling as a non runner.it will turn over but will not start. car has been parked up for 10 days now !so battery could do with a recharge M.O.T until sept 2012 .TAX tell march 2012. p/plate will be left on the car (ex wife got me that ) this is worth £200 .Two new tyres on the front , a spare set of locking wheel nuts. also you can have the roof bars of which i paid £85 . very clean car i,ve been very happy with it. 2003/03 Jeep Cherokee Extreme Sport 3.7 We purchased this Jeep as a tempory Fleet Support Vehicle while we were waiting for the new Support vehicle ordered to arrive, it was never used as the new Support Vehicle arrived earlier than expected, the Jeep has been sat at one of our depots for the last 6 months with no or very little use, at most 200 miles since having its MOT.The Jeep is in good condition for its age and has done 57000 miles, we do not have any service history for the vehicle but do have the previous MOTs to back up the mileage, although looking at it, it looks to of been well maintained, we did put the Jeep in to the garage that maintains some of our Fleet prior to having it MOT’d shortly after we had purchased it, no issues were noted. Internally there is nothing missing or broken and everything works as it should do. Here we have for sale my 2004 Jeep Cherokee, this is the 3.7 litre V6 petrol model fitted with LPG!!! ON SALE FROM £1 – HIGHEST BIDDER WINS – NO RESERVE!!! Update – for those that have asked this vehicle is on the LPG register (go to drivelpg.co.uk/faq.php and input the reg number) and therefore does not require a certificate proving it has been correctly converted to LPG (this is needed for insurance purposes) Only 55, 000 miles with a recent service, unfortunately the service book was lost by the previous owner but the mileage can easily be verified, comes with 8 Months Mot remaining and 2 months tax, LPG was fitted within the last 6 months and still has 18 months warranty remaining, it is the very best multipoint/sequential model (fiited by leyland lpg – one of the best in the business!) with underslung LPG tank (as seen in pics) meaning no loss of boot space, with external filling point, on board ecu means the car switches between petrol and LPG effortlessly meaning no thought required from the driver – just fill up and go! Jeep cherokee 4.0 Litre /LPG sold for spares or repare . 1996 cherokee on gas, The car is still tax and tested till 30th of November 2011. The reason it is being sold for spares or repair is because there is a leek in one of the gas tanks and can only be run on petrol. It starts first time but when driven it is running uneven. (when running on gas it is perfect). The vehicle uses no oil or water so it still has a lot of mileage left in it. I have fitted a new exhurst , front pads and raidiator. The only bad points are a hole in the off side sill (will not affect the M,O,T.) the driver window does not work and the exhurst manefold is blowing (a common fault with the 4.0 litre engine). I have the V5 in my name ,MOT,2X keys and the LPG conversion certificate. The car will have to be put on a trailer or recovery truck its a automatic so you cannot tow it, The gas tanks are under the vehicle (3 in total). Hi there Today you will hopefully be bidding for my 1998 Jeep Cherokee 4.0 Limited which is the better looking face lift version. I originally bought it in January this year with the intention to do it up and let my Girlfriend use it to tow her horse box etc, but unfortunately she decided to get a small lorry in the Summer so now it is time for this tidy Jeep to go. This Jeep is only being sold as spares or repairs as it has NO TAX OR MOT but in truth betold it really would not take much to make it legal for the road!! Good BitsNo Exterior rust, Interior like new, all electrics work, Excellent sound system, Goes like an absolute train and will pull anything, Auto box is perfect with NO Diff noise, 3 Good tyres & 1 may need changing for its MOT. New front pads last MOT. Excellent 4wd system Bad Bits.NO MOT OR TAX. Superficial dings and dents which look like mostly car park (see piccies), The engine is very good but there is a noise coming from one of the plates between the Gbox and Engine which makes a noise when it is idling and disappears when you are driving along. I have been told by an experienced mechanic that it is not engine internals. Wiper blades rotten. Usual Jeep problem of Remote central locking not working but does start on the key first time and also locks doors with the key. Overall this is a very tidy Cherokee for the year and has been looked after. It is too good for spares and would make someone a very good project to make a good Winter runner as the 4WD is Excellent!!!!! Any questions please message me.
