Jeep Grand Cherokee LTD V82001 ‘Y’ Hello and thank you for looking at my trusty Jeep. I have owned this since 2004 and it has been a wonderful, reliable car and continues to be such. Sadly, I have to let it go as I have a company car and it just sits on my drive doing nothing. As you can see from the pictures it still looks the part and is very comfortable. The interior is immaculate and the leather is soft, supple and has no rips or tears. The CD is awesome if you want to have a change from the lovely V8 burble. It will happily sit at 70mph all day and cosset you in ice cold air conditioned comfort. I can get 25mpg at this sort of speed. Ave about 20mpg. I have a TON of reciepts, old MOT’s, invoices, service history and service books and manuals. It is my 4th Jeep and I know how to look after them. There are no odd noises and it always starts on the button. I have upgraded the front calipers to the ‘silver’ ones (only last year) which is a standard upgrade for these as the ‘old’ one had a tendancy to bind. It has also had new rear caliper too. Teh brakes are really good as a result. It has a tow bar which I have used a couple of times but only with a small trailer to collect floorboards, nothing regular, nothing huge. The tranfer box has been replaced with a unit from a 70,000 mile car and I changed the gear box at the same time. Also the engine has been changed for a 75,000 mile unit as in the really cold weather in 2011, I hadnt got enough anti-freeze in it and it was cheaper to replace than to repair (so much for knowing how to look after Jeeps!!) It has pretty new front tyres and replacements for the rears which are on the edge of illegal. The A/C works and holds charge. The windows have been tinted with Dark Smoke and look very fetching. Its in the lower road tax bracket as it is a ‘Y’ reg Bad bits: (you knew there woudl be some) Its had paint…my ex-wife used it for ages….(more relaibale than her!) and sadly she didnt understand that walls and cars dont mix. Now, it was only a scrape and no panels needed replacing. Whilst the rear door was painted I re-did the bumper corners. The wheels are showing signs of age and the lacquer is peeling. The drivers window has started having a mind of its own and occasionally wont come down…. it helps if you dont ever let it get all the way to the bottom on the ‘auto’ function and its something Ive got used to but wanted to mention it. The exhaust is blowing and depending on how lovely your MOT guy is, would depend on whether you would need to spend the £50 for the new bit There is no MOT as I havent used it since getting the company car. It expired in Nov 2011. Anything else, please ask, bid to buy, cash on collection, its drivable. Oh, the private plate is not included and has already been tranfered and I have the original plate Y176 DEP – just to confirm the private plate is not included. Here is my pride and joy, My Black Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited 3.0L V6 Diesel. I am selling because I need the money for moving house. This is a fantastic car, drives superb and looks stunning…a real head turner. The Kit: Front and rear parking sensors, alloy wheels, rear wiper, rear liftglass and tailgate, front and rear fog lights. Electric and heated full leather front seats, full leather rear seats with arm rest, all windows electric with factory standard privacy glass/tints, electric wing mirrors with heating and motor folding, dual zone automatic climate control with air conditioning, heated rear screen, trip computer inc fuel consumption compass and driver settings. traction controll, cruise control, rain sensing front wipers. Automatic gearbox with tiptronic, 4 wheel drive low range toggle switch. Parrot hands free kit, Alpine touch screen dvd cd radio with iPod connectivity and expandibility to use a navigation system. Dual rear DVD players with own screens with games functionality (headphones, remote controls, game controlers and game cd’s included), and upgraded front and rear alpine speakers with subwoofer connectivity to the boot. There is almost too much kit to mention and there are some other comforts/options with the seats and the in-car settings! Bad points: Very few bad points but I must point them out. There is a small scuff mark to the left of the front numberplate approx 1″ verticle and 5mm horizontal. Small stone chips to bonnet and front bumper (not very noticeable but expected with a car this age) Both front seats have small/slight wear marks/tears on them. The hydraulic bonnet strut is weak so the bonnet must be propped open when needed. The tyre pressure sensors were removed from the tyres by the prievious owner, I have checked the system itself and there is no fault apparent so they just need to be re-fitted. (I have not done this as I havent needed to) The service history is up to date up to last year as I have done the servicing myself as I am a qualified chrysler/jeep technician and have serviced the car twice since january 2011. Additional Information: I have the past 3 MOT certificates all passed first time with no advisories except for the most resent which failed on tyres, those tyres have since been replaced and all is well. The mileage in the picture is slightly out of date as I use the car frequently but there should only be a few hundred miles added by the time the car is purchased.
